OneID Wallet for Document Scanning

At OneID, we are always striving to enhance our customer’s and user’s experience with agile and innovative solutions. The latest feature update to our service will optimise billing and improve the user experience.

With this change, our products that provide government identity document scans will now be linked to the OneID Wallet. With the OneID Wallet a user will be able to seamlessly authenticate with OneID when they need to confirm their identity. Initially this will allow us to recognise a returning user to ensure that customers are only billed once when a user scans their ID document. Effectively this means customers will be billed per user as they initiate their journey, rather than per transaction, making the process more efficient and cost-effective.

In the near future we will issue a further update that will allow users to securely store their identity documents to make the user experience even better.

This will make OneID even easier to use, whilst ensuring the integrity of the verification process, maintaining the privacy of the users whilst meeting all security and regulatory requirements.

We believe this update will simplify operations while maintaining the seamless and secure experience customers expect from OneID.

Bug Fix

iFrames

Date: 07/05/2025

We have restricted the use of iFrames to address a known security risk. This change will prevent any customers from using iframes for journeys in both sandbox and production.
