KYC Match
KYC Match is designed to help you meet your KYC 2+2 regulatory obligations. The "2+2" rule in electronic Know Your Customer (KYC) verification requires matching at least two pieces of identifying information against at least two separate, reliable data sources.
KYC Match uses alternative data sources to traditional Credit reference Agencies (CRA) in order to increase the chances of matching to 2 or more data sources. This helps to onboard customers who would traditionally fail CRA checks due to "thin file". In PoC's with existing customers we have positively matched to 50% of the individuals who failed CRA checks or only matched to one source of data.
The KYC Match is a distinct count of the number of providers that OneID has matched the name, address, and date of birth to. We use multiple sources and you can choose which of the options you’d like to use – all of them are configurable,
Data we match to:
- Bank Accounts, current accounts, savings accounts
- Business bank accounts
- Secured and Unsecured loans
- Insurance Policies and Insurance Claims including house, travel, life, pet and motor insurance
- Mobile Phone
- Car Finance and Hire Purchase
- Electoral Roll and Rolling Register
