OneID® document scanning tool is based on document scanning and face match.
Key features:
- Real-Time Verification: Confirms the authenticity of identity documents and matches them with a live selfie to prevent fraud.
- Global Document Support: Supports identity documents from hundreds of countries, including UK and Irish passports and driving licenses.
- Biometric Matching: Uses biometric authentication to link the individual to the document, enhancing security.
- Product Availability: Can be combined with several OneID® products for enhanced fraud and identity verification (e.g. DBS or Right to Work purposes).
- GDPR Compliant - Data is only ever shared with the individual's consent. You can protect the individual's privacy with no over-sharing of data or form-filling and most importantly, no hassle.

| Full Name | The users given name and surname |
| Address | Full address including house number and street name, town, county, postal code, and country code |
| Date of Birth | Date of birth date in (YYYY/MM/DD) format |
| Identity Assurance | Identity Assurance data (optional) |
| Identity Fraud Score | Did the users details match against any fraud data |
| National SIRA Fraud | Did the users details match against and data in SIRA fraud database |
| DDRI | Has the user been registered deceased |
| Amberhill Match | Have the users details match to fraud data help by the police |
| No Match | Is there no evidence that the identity exists. This could indicate a potential synthetic identity |
🛠️ How it Works
- Initiation: The user receives an SMS or email prompting them to prove their identity.
- Document Capture: The user scans their official document (e.g., passport or driving license) using their phone's camera.
- Data Verification: The user verifies all the data is imported correctly from the document.
- Selfie Capture: The user takes a short live selfie.
- Biometric Matching: The selfie is matched to the picture on the document to confirm identity.
